Cheshire Wildlife Trust is a charity that works to protect and enhance wildlife in the Cheshire region. As part of our role to safeguard our fragile natural heritage, we manage 45 nature reserves which help to protect endangered species, rare plants, and threatened habitats. We are all about people taking action for wildlife at a local level.
Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare is a charity based in Northwich, Cheshire, which has been in operation for over 30 years but only became a registered charity in 1995. We cover mid-Cheshire and surrounding areas .For many years animals have been lovingly cared for until such time as a suitable home can be found. In 2003 & 2004 over 1000 animals were fostered and re-homed.
The Society is a registered charity for those who are both interested in walking in the Cheshire Countryside and in helping to look after and protect the Public Rights of Way.
The Society organises regular walks in Cheshire covering the footpaths in our area.
The Society was founded in 1961 to associate all those who are interested in keeping open and well-marked the public rights of way in Cheshire. Our area of operation covers the majority of the county and is bounded by Runcorn, Warrington South of the Mersey, Lymm, the M6 motorway, Crewe, Audlem, Malpas and Chester.
