The Riverside
Called at the Riverside for lunch today with my Parents. The car park was nearly full but there was plenty of empty tables inside and we picked one looking out onto the river. The menu had a good selection of meals and there was also a blackboard with a large number of "Specials". I went for the Chicken Tikka Masal, a nice little touch was they served it with chips instead of rice (I don't like Rice). My parents had sirloin steak and chips and Lamb and new potatoes.

It was waitress service which was efficient and quick. The food was excellent and at £21, including a pot of tea, it was excellent value for money. The Riverside are currently running a promotion where you can buy one meal and get one free.

Certainly recommended for well priced standard pub food and excellent service.
